Government Reduces Prices of Petroleum Products

ISLAMABAD (Qudrat News) – The federal government has announced a reduction in the prices of petroleum products across the country.
According to the latest decision, the price of high-speed diesel has been reduced by Rs 6.80 per litre, while petrol prices have been cut by Rs 6 per litre.
Following the reduction, the new price of petrol has been fixed at Rs 403.78 per litre, while diesel will now cost Rs 402.78 per litre.
It is worth mentioning that the government had also reduced petroleum prices by Rs 5 per litre last week, bringing petrol and diesel prices down to Rs 409.78 and Rs 409.58 per litre, respectively.
Before that, petroleum prices had witnessed a significant increase, with petrol reaching Rs 414.78 per litre and high-speed diesel rising to Rs 414.58 per litre.
