Contempt of Court Petition Filed Against Balochistan Chief Minister and Chief Secretary in Balochistan High Court

Quetta (Kudrat News) — A petition seeking contempt of court proceedings against Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti, the Chief Secretary, and other officials has been filed in the Balochistan High Court.

The petition was submitted by Advocate Jalil Lango, who argued that the Balochistan High Court had earlier declared the appointment and extension in service of BDA Chairman Javed Khan illegal and ordered him to vacate the office within 24 hours.

According to the petitioner, despite the court’s directives, the BDA chairman has not been removed from his position, which amounts to a clear violation of court orders.

The petition names Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti, the Chief Secretary of Balochistan, and other concerned officials as respondents in their personal capacities.

The Balochistan High Court has fixed the contempt of court petition against the chief minister for hearing tomorrow.
