Spike in Armed Robberies in Dera Murad Jamali, Youth Injured in Resistance Fire

Dera Murad Jamali (KNN): A series of armed robberies has continued in Dera Murad Jamali and surrounding areas, where three motorcycles, cash, and mobile phones were snatched from citizens. A young man was also injured after being shot while resisting the robbery.
According to police, in the Mangoli police station jurisdiction near Manjhooti, three armed masked men intercepted a youth identified as Matloobullah Umrani and snatched his motorcycle at gunpoint. When he resisted, the attackers opened fire, injuring him. The injured was shifted to the Teaching Hospital Dera Murad Jamali for medical treatment.
In another incident within the limits of Sadar Police Station near Goth Faiz Shahwani, armed men snatched a motorcycle, Rs50,000 in cash, and a mobile phone from Ghulam Khan, son of Gahnur Khan Bhutto, before fleeing the scene.
Similarly, in Usta Muhammad’s main Bazaar Jinnah Road, unidentified armed men robbed a young social worker, Imtiaz Bhutto, at gunpoint of his motorcycle, cash, and mobile phone and escaped.
Police have registered cases and launched investigations, while efforts are underway to trace and arrest the culprits.
