Severe Heatwave in Naseerabad Division as Temperature Reaches 48°C, Dozens Collapse

Dera Murad Jamali (KNN): Naseerabad Division has come under an intense heatwave as temperatures soared to 48°C, causing dozens of people to faint due to heatstroke.

According to details, extreme hot weather and heatwave conditions have severely disrupted daily life in Dera Murad Jamali, Usta Muhammad, Sohbatpur, Dera Allah Yar, Notal, Bhag Nari, Jhal Magsi, Gandawah, Rojhan Jamali, Bakhtiarabad, Chattar, Fuleji, Tamboo, Mir Wah, Manjhooti, Faridabad, Umarkot, and Gandakha, among other areas.

As the day begins, the scorching sun intensifies, badly affecting field workers and laborers. Numerous individuals suffered heatstroke and were shifted to nearby hospitals and private clinics for medical treatment.

In Dera Murad Jamali, those affected include Shah Nawaz, Fayyaz Hussain, Sadaam Ali, Ghaffar Joia, Shah Rukh (driver), Fida Hussain, Bilal, Asad, Awais, Naeem Ahmed, Zubair Ahmed, Shaukat Ali, Rasool Bakhsh, Himmat, and Qurban Ali, among others.

Along with extreme heat, prolonged and unannounced power outages have further worsened the situation, while severe water shortages have also gripped urban areas. Residents are struggling for even basic drinking water.

The public has urged authorities to immediately end load shedding and ensure the supply of clean drinking water in the affected regions.
