Black Day Observed at University of Turbat Over Abduction of VC and Faculty Members, Protest Walk Held

Turbat (KNN): A Black Day was observed at the University of Turbat, as well as other universities across the province, in protest against the alleged abduction of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir of the University of Gwadar, Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Syed Manzoor Ahmed, Lecturer Dr. Irshad Baloch, and driver Hatem.
A protest walk was also organized at the University of Turbat, in which a large number of faculty members and administrative staff participated. The participants demanded the safe and dignified release of Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir and his colleagues on humanitarian grounds.
The protesters urged the government and law enforcement agencies to ensure the immediate and safe recovery of the missing individuals.
They expressed deep concern over the incident, stating that the disappearance of academics has created serious anxiety among their families, university staff, students, and the wider community.
The participants further said that such incidents are negatively affecting educational activities and the overall academic environment in Balochistan.
Speakers highlighted the contributions of the missing educators in promoting higher education in the province and termed their services invaluable.
At the end of the protest walk, the participants expressed full solidarity with the affected families and once again appealed for the immediate and safe release of all the missing individuals on humanitarian grounds.
