3 Killed, 4 Injured in Remote-Controlled Blast in South Waziristan

At least three people were killed and four others injured in a remote-controlled explosion near Rustam Bazaar in Wana, Lower South South Waziristan.

According to District Police Officer Muhammad Tahir, the victims included the head of the Ahmadzai Wazir tribe.

Police officials said the blast specifically targeted the tribal leader’s vehicle. Following the incident, security forces and police cordoned off the area and launched an investigation.

The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment, while authorities continue to assess the situation.
