Constitutional Amendments and Budget Not Possible Without PPP Support, Says Bilawal Bhutto

ISLAMABAD – Chairman of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has warned that no constitutional amendment or federal budget can be passed without the support of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) in Pakistan.
Speaking to media representatives at Parliament House, he said the country is facing serious financial and economic challenges, with rising inflation putting heavy pressure on the public. He stressed that political parties must remain sensitive to the hardships of ordinary citizens.
Bilawal Bhutto said the PPP had supported some government relief measures, including efforts aimed at reducing fuel prices for motorcycle users, and welcomed initiatives taken by the prime minister to ease inflation. He added that both federal and provincial governments must work together to provide relief to the public.
Reiterating his political position, he emphasized that without PPP support, neither constitutional amendments nor the national budget could be approved.
He also commented on foreign policy and regional issues, stating that Pakistan’s stance is based on national interest and unity during international crises. He said Pakistan has condemned aggression against Iran and continues to support peace and diplomacy in the region.
Bilawal Bhutto further said that Pakistan’s foreign policy is moving in the right direction and that national leadership, including the prime minister and the military leadership, is working for global peace and stability.
