No Constitutional Amendment or Budget Possible Without PPP Support, Says Bilawal Bhutto

ISLAMABAD – Chairman of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has warned the federal government that no constitutional amendment or budget approval is possible without the support of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) in Pakistan.
Speaking to the media at Parliament House, he said the country is currently facing serious financial and economic challenges, with rising inflation severely affecting the public. He added that political parties should remain sensitive to the hardships faced by ordinary citizens.
Bilawal Bhutto said the PPP had welcomed some of the relief measures announced by the prime minister, including steps aimed at reducing fuel costs for motorcycle users. He also noted that both federal and provincial governments must work together to provide relief to the public.
Reiterating his party’s political importance, he stressed that without PPP support, neither constitutional amendments nor the federal budget could be passed.
He further commented on regional and international issues, saying Pakistan consistently advocates for peace and takes positions based on national interest. He added that Pakistan’s foreign policy is moving in the right direction and that efforts for regional stability and dialogue should continue.
