Flour and Vegetable Prices Surge in Peshawar Amid Supply Disruptions

Peshawar: The suspension of wheat supply from Punjab has led to a sharp increase in flour prices in Peshawar. According to local shopkeepers, the price of an 80-kg flour bag has soared to Rs. 10,000.

Alongside flour, vegetable prices have also surged, with tomatoes now selling for as high as Rs. 250 per kilogram. The price hikes have added to the burden on citizens already struggling with inflation.
