Security Forces Conducting Intelligence-Based Operations in Balochistan, Says Zia Langove

Quetta: Mir Ziaullah Langove has said that security forces are continuing intelligence-based operations in Balochistan amid ongoing law and order challenges in the province.

Addressing the Balochistan Assembly, the provincial interior minister stated that the security situation in the province is visible to everyone and that the government, along with security institutions, is fulfilling its responsibilities to combat terrorism and maintain peace.

Langove said members of the provincial assembly have been provided with six security personnel each, while provincial ministers have been assigned eight security guards for their protection.

He remarked that whenever the government launches operations against militants, lawmakers often criticize the administration, despite the fact that security forces are actively carrying out intelligence-driven actions against terrorist elements.

The minister stressed that all stakeholders must unite against terrorism and work collectively to improve the security situation in the province.

At the same time, he emphasized that dialogue remains the ultimate solution to all issues, stating that the Balochistan government believes in resolving matters through table talks and negotiations.
