Details of Drug Network Linked to Karachi Suspect ‘Pinky’ Revealed

KARACHI: Further details have emerged regarding the alleged drug trafficking network of Anmol alias “Pinky,” who was arrested in a narcotics and illegal weapons case.
According to investigative sources, the suspect used to sell one gram of cocaine for between 15,000 and 20,000 rupees. Officials said she operated an online-based drug distribution system.
Sources revealed that instead of using riders for delivery, the suspect instructed new customers to collect narcotics from specific locations she designated in advance.
Investigators further stated that the suspect allegedly supplied drugs in upscale areas of Karachi as well as near educational institutions.
Police sources also claim that a six-member gang was involved in the network, including one woman and five men, assisting in the distribution and coordination of the illegal drug trade.
Authorities say the investigation is ongoing to identify and arrest other members of the group.
