The City Where the Sun Rose in May and Will Set After 84 Days

Islamabad (Qudrat Daily): The sun rose on May 9 in Utqiagvik, a city in the امریکی state of Alaska, and it will not set again for the next 84 days.
This means the city will experience continuous daylight for nearly three months, with sunlight visible 24 hours a day. After the 84-day period ends, the sun will finally set, and the city will eventually enter months of darkness during the winter season.
Due to its location near the North Pole, Utqiagvik experiences extremely long days and nights. During summer, the city remains under continuous daylight for months, while in winter it stays in darkness for extended periods.
According to experts, even after the sun sets later in the season, complete nighttime darkness will not fully appear in the region until September 21 because of the city’s unique geographic position near the Arctic Circle.
