Rupee Gains Strength as Dollar Falls Further in Interbank Market

Karachi: The Pakistani rupee continued to show slight improvement against the US dollar in the interbank market on the first trading day of the week.
According to market data, the US dollar depreciated by 3 paisas in interbank trading, closing at Rs278.67. This marks a marginal gain for the local currency.
On the last working day of the previous week, the dollar had closed at Rs278.70 in the interbank market, indicating a continued but gradual strengthening of the rupee.
Financial experts say the small fluctuation reflects overall stability in the currency market, as traders closely monitor economic indicators and external financial trends.
