Gold Price in Pakistan Surpasses Rs 550,000 per Tola for the First Time

Karachi: In a historic milestone, the price of gold in Pakistan has crossed Rs 550,000 per tola for the first time.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa, Gems & Jewellers Association, the local price of one tola of gold surged by Rs 21,100, reaching Rs 551,961. Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of 24-carat gold increased by Rs 18,090, bringing it to Rs 472,961.
Silver prices also hit record levels, with one tola of silver rising by Rs 271 to reach Rs 11,911.
The surge follows a $211 increase in the international market, where the price of gold per ounce reached $5,293.
The rise in gold and silver prices reflects both global market trends and increasing domestic demand, marking a significant moment for investors and traders in Pakistan.
