Ishaq Dar, Saudi Foreign Minister Discuss Regional Developments in Phone Call

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, during which they discussed the evolving situation in the region and matters of mutual interest.
According to a spokesperson of the Foreign Office, both leaders exchanged views on the changing regional dynamics and reaffirmed their commitment to continued cooperation on key diplomatic and strategic issues.

During the conversation, the Saudi foreign minister appreciated Pakistan’s constructive role in promoting regional stability. He also expressed support for Islamabad’s diplomatic efforts aimed at fostering peace, particularly its engagement in ongoing diplomatic contacts between Iran and the United States.
The two sides also discussed the importance of ensuring maritime security, including the situation in the Strait of Hormuz. They agreed on the need to maintain close coordination regarding regional and global developments in the future.
Both leaders reiterated their commitment to strengthening bilateral communication and working together for peace and stability in the broader region.
