4-Year-Old Girl Dies After Falling Into Open Manhole in Faisalabad

A tragic incident in Faisalabad has claimed the life of a four-year-old girl after she fell into an open manhole in the Taiba Town area.

According to police, the child, identified as Hania Noor, went missing while playing in the street. After a search operation, her body was recovered from a nearby open drainage manhole.

Authorities confirmed that a case has been registered against the developer responsible for the area. The First Information Report (FIR) stated that the developer had covered some manholes while leaving others open, allegedly putting public lives at serious risk.

Police said further investigation is underway into negligence and safety violations linked to the incident.
