Grand “Battle of Haq” Celebration Held in Barcelona, Large Number of Pakistanis Attend From Across Europe

Islamabad: A grand ceremony titled “Jashan-e-Marka-e-Haq” was held in Barcelona under the banner of the Europe Pakistan Friendship Federation to mark one year since “Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos.”
The event was described by organizers as one of the largest gatherings of overseas Pakistanis in Europe, with hundreds of participants attending from various European and Arab countries.
Members of the Pakistani and Kashmiri communities attended the ceremony enthusiastically, carrying the flags of Pakistan and Kashmir, along with portraits of Chief of Defence Forces Asim Munir.
Participants chanted slogans including “Pakistan Zindabad,” “Pak Army Zindabad,” and “Field Marshal General Syed Asim Munir Zindabad.”
The chief guest at the event was Chairman of the Europe Pakistan Friendship Federation Europe, Parvez Iqbal Lohsar, who praised Pakistan’s armed forces for what he described as a strong response to Indian aggression in 2025.
In his speech, Dr. Lohsar paid tribute to the leadership of Field Marshal Asim Munir and commended the performance of Pakistan’s military services.
He claimed that the Pakistan Air Force successfully shot down eight enemy fighter jets, while the Pakistan Navy effectively neutralized maritime threats through strategic planning.
Dr. Lohsar stated that Pakistan seeks peace in the region but possesses the full capability to respond decisively to any aggression.
The ceremony was chaired by Kamran Khan, while Syed Qasim Sajjad Shah attended as a special guest.
Kashmiri freedom movement leader Raja Hasnain was also present at the event.
Several community leaders and organizers participated in arranging the ceremony, including Mehr Afzal, Chaudhry Mian Khan, Mian Atif Nazir, Mehr Nawaz, Chaudhry Qurban Marhana, Raja Mudassar Bolani, Chaudhry Aziz Amrah, Chaudhry Saleem Langrial, and Chaudhry Muhammad Iqbal.
At the conclusion of the event, participants reaffirmed their solidarity with Pakistan, Kashmir, and Pakistan’s armed forces, while expressing confidence in the leadership of Field Marshal Asim Munir.
