Two Children Drown While Bathing in Water Pit in Karachi’s Gulshan-e-Maymar

KARACHI: Two children died after drowning in a water-filled pit near Dhani Bakhsh Goth in the Gulshan-e-Maymar area of the city, police said.
According to police officials, the pit had been dug during construction work and was filled with water when the incident occurred. The children were reportedly bathing in the pit when they drowned.
Police stated that the identities of the deceased children could not immediately be confirmed. Both victims were estimated to be between 10 and 11 years old.
Authorities said further investigation into the incident is underway.
