American Tennis Player Tristan Boyer Loses Temper, Attacks Umpire’s Chair During Match in Italy

Italy: American tennis player Tristan Boyer lost his temper during a Challenger event in Italy, leading to a dramatic end to his match.
The incident occurred during the Francavilla al Mare Open, where Boyer was facing lower-ranked player Daniel Rappagnietta.
After losing the first set and trailing 6-5, Boyer became visibly frustrated and smashed his racket repeatedly on the court. Despite warnings from the umpire, he failed to calm down, prompting the official to award a penalty game to his opponent, effectively ending the match.
Following the decision, Boyer verbally abused the umpire and struck the umpire’s chair with his racket. Fortunately, the official was not injured. The player continued his outburst by breaking additional rackets before storming off the court.

This is not the first time Boyer has displayed such behavior, as he had previously shown similar anger during the San Diego Open.
