PCB Dedicates PSL 10 to Pakistan Armed Forces; Special Tribute During Rawalpindi Match

Lahore:The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced that the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10 will be dedicated to the Pakistan Armed Forces, with three days named in honor of the Army, Navy, and Air Force.

According to the PCB statement, the resumed leg of PSL 10 starting from May 17 will mark its first day in tribute to the Pakistan Army, the second day to the Pakistan Navy, and the third to the Pakistan Air Force.

In a significant moment of respect and national solidarity, a one-minute silence was observed at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium during the 27th match between Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi to honor the martyrs of Pakistan.

Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir and DG ISPR Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif were also present at the stadium to witness the tribute and the match, highlighting the deep connection between cricket and the country’s armed forces.

This gesture by the PCB aims to acknowledge the sacrifices and services of Pakistan’s military institutions and foster national unity through sport.
