KMC Allowed to Set Up Cattle Markets Across Karachi Ahead of Eid Season

Karachi: The Commissioner Karachi has granted permission to the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) to establish cattle markets at various locations across the city.
According to an official notification issued by the Commissioner Karachi, KMC has been authorized to set up cattle markets in seven districts of the city.
As per the notification, designated sites include Sunday Bazaar in Sector 11-D North Karachi, KMC Ground Safari Park, and areas in Gulistan-e-Johar Blocks 5 and 6.
Similarly, cattle markets have also been approved near Bakra Piri in Lyari and on vacant land around the Attock Petrol Pump area in Korangi.
The notification further states that the Deputy Commissioner’s offices, KMC, and Town Municipal Corporations will oversee the establishment of cattle markets across the seven districts.
Earlier, KMC had requested approval from the Commissioner Karachi to set up cattle markets across 11 districts of the city ahead of the upcoming Eid season.
