US Transfers Seized Iranian Vessel and Crew to Pakistan for Repatriation

U.S. authorities have handed over a seized Iranian-linked vessel and its crew to Pakistan, according to American media reports. The move is said to facilitate the ship’s eventual return to Iran.

Reports indicate that U.S. officials transferred 22 crew members of the vessel, identified as *MV Toxsa*, to Pakistani authorities. The handover is part of efforts to repatriate both the ship and its personnel.

According to officials, six crew members had already been released earlier and transferred to a country in the region for return. The vessel had previously been detained by the United States for allegedly violating U.S. sanctions.

U.S. authorities stated that the ship is now being returned to its owner’s custody, marking a step toward resolving the matter.
