One Killed, Four Injured in Reported US Strike on Water Pumping Station in Iran’s Khuzestan

Tehran:A reported U.S. missile strike on an agricultural water pumping station in Mahshahr, located in Iran’s Khuzestan province, has left one person dead and four others injured, according to Iranian officials.
Iran’s state news agency **IRNA** quoted Khuzestan Deputy Governor for Security and Law Enforcement Affairs, Valiollah Hayati, as saying the attack occurred early Tuesday morning and targeted the pumping station with a missile.
Hayati said the person killed in the strike was a security guard assigned to the facility. He added that rescue and medical teams are monitoring the condition of the injured and providing them with necessary treatment.
The reported attack comes amid an escalation in military tensions after the United States announced a new round of strikes against Iran. Iranian media also reported explosions in **Bushehr, Bandar Abbas, Qeshm, and Jask**, although independent verification of the incidents and their causes has not yet been confirmed.
Neither U.S. authorities nor independent sources have immediately confirmed the specific details of the reported strike or the casualty figures.
