CTD Arrests 21 Terrorists Across Punjab, Explosives and Weapons Recovered

LAHORE: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has arrested 21 terrorists during operations carried out across various cities of Punjab this week, officials said.
According to a CTD spokesperson, a terrorist belonging to the Fitna Al-Khawarij network, identified as Pir Shams, was arrested from Lahore along with explosive material.
In another operation in Toba Tek Singh, a terrorist linked to the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), Abdul Latif, was apprehended with explosives.
The spokesperson confirmed that explosive material, an improvised explosive device (IED), and a detonator were recovered from the suspects.
Authorities stated that the arrested individuals were planning sabotage activities at multiple locations.
The CTD further said that the arrested suspects include Misbah, Samiullah, Gulab Khan Rehman, Tor Khan, Zarin Shah, Zia-ur-Rehman, Azimullah, and Abdul Samad, among others.
Investigations are underway to determine the network and possible facilitators behind the group.
