Woman SP’s Son Misbehaves with Police During Snap Checking in Karachi, Video Goes Viral

Karachi: A video showing alleged misconduct by the son of a woman police officer during snap checking in Defence Housing Authority Karachi Phase 7 Extension has gone viral on social media, sparking public concern.
According to reports, the incident occurred when police personnel stopped a vehicle for routine checking. The driver, said to be the son of a female police officer, reportedly lost his temper and began arguing with officials on duty. He allegedly grabbed a sub-inspector by the collar and used abusive language.
Police sources stated that the vehicle was fitted with police lights and a number plate, both suspected to be fake. Two private guards were also present in the car at the time of the incident.
Following the emergence of the video, the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) South of Karachi Police took immediate notice and directed the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) South to conduct a thorough investigation.
Authorities have said that strict legal action will be taken if the use of fake police lights or number plates is confirmed during the inquiry.
