Hot and Dry Weather Expected Across Most Parts of Pakistan, Severe Heat in Southern Regions

The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast hot and dry weather across most parts of the country today, while southern regions are expected to experience intense heat conditions.

According to the latest data from the past 24 hours, the highest temperatures were recorded in Turbat and Nawabshah, where the mercury rose to 46°C.

Other recorded temperatures include 45°C in Sukkur, 44°C in Dadu, Lasbela, and Mohenjo Daro, and 42°C in Hyderabad and Sukhur. Multan and Sahiwal recorded 38°C, while Karachi saw a maximum temperature of 35°C.

In major northern and central cities, Lahore recorded 34°C, Islamabad and Peshawar 33°C, Quetta and Muzaffarabad 30°C, and Gilgit remained relatively cooler at 23°C.

Authorities have advised the public, especially in southern regions, to take precautionary measures against the extreme heat.
