Trump Says Secure Ballroom Needed at White House After Security Concerns

Washington, D.C.: U.S. President Donald Trump has said that recent events have highlighted the need for constructing a highly secure ballroom at the White House.
Speaking to the media, Trump stated that the United States Secret Service has been requesting a secure hall within the White House for the past 150 years due to evolving security requirements. He added that in today’s environment, security standards have become increasingly important.
He claimed that if a modern and secure ballroom had already been in place at the White House, such an incident would not have occurred. According to him, the proposed project is necessary to further strengthen security within what is already considered one of the most secure buildings in the world.
Trump also criticized a legal case filed against the construction plan, saying it was initiated by a woman who has no direct connection to the matter and should therefore be dismissed immediately.
He further noted that the construction of the proposed ballroom would not be completed quickly, but emphasized that it remains an important security requirement for the White House.
