Elon Musk Reveals Twitter’s Financial Struggles in Email to Employees

Washington:After acquiring Twitter (now X) in 2022, tech mogul Elon Musk has consistently claimed progress and development. However, recent revelations in an email sent to employees indicate the company’s dire financial situation.

According to the *Wall Street Journal*, Elon Musk expressed concern over the poor financial state of the platform. In the email, Musk acknowledged that the company is in a “critical financial situation.” He stated, “Our user growth has stagnated, revenue is underwhelming, and we are barely managing to prevent losses.”

Musk, who purchased Twitter for $44 billion in 2022, has since implemented significant changes to the social media platform, including a shift toward right-wing ideologies under his leadership. During the recent U.S. presidential elections, Musk reportedly used Twitter to support Republican candidate Donald Trump, which some argue contributed to shaping public opinion and aided Trump’s success in the elections.

These recent financial struggles raise questions about the sustainability of Musk’s strategies for Twitter, and whether the platform can recover from its current challenges.
