Karachi Encroachments Case Fixed for Hearing in Federal Constitutional Court

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Constitutional Court has scheduled a hearing in the case related to the removal of encroachments in Karachi.
According to sources, the court will also take up a contempt of court petition filed against Saeed Ghani in connection with the same case.
The contempt petition was originally filed in 2019 over alleged non-compliance with court orders in the encroachments matter and has now been fixed for hearing once again.
A two-member bench headed by Justice Aamir Farooq will hear the case on April 30. Notices have already been issued to the relevant parties by the court.
