9th Death Anniversary of Abdul Rahim Khan Mandokhail to Be Observed in Quetta on May 10

Quetta (Daily Kudrat) – The 9th death anniversary of veteran سیاسی رہنما Abdul Rahim Khan Mandokhail will be commemorated on May 10 in Quetta with a grand public gathering, announced Nasrullah Khan Zairey, Provincial President of the Pashtunkhwa National Awami Party.
Speaking at a joint meeting of the party’s provincial and Quetta district executives, Zairey said the event would be held in the form of a large public rally where central, provincial, and district leaders will address participants. They will highlight Mandokhail’s political, intellectual, and national contributions in detail.
Party leaders directed all regional and local units, as well as affiliated organizations and workers, to make full preparations to ensure the success of the event. They emphasized that the anniversary is not merely a commemorative gathering but a day to renew ideological commitment, political resolve, and national awareness.
The meeting also reviewed preparations for upcoming party activities and formed various administrative, organizational, and coordination committees to strengthen operations. It was further decided that the traditional Gul Surkh festival will be celebrated on May 3 in Harnai district, with local organizers instructed to complete preparations and mobilize public participation.
Participants paid tribute to Mandokhail, describing him as a prominent نظریاتی رہنما, intellectual, and strategist of the Pashtun national movement. They highlighted his contributions toward political awareness, organizational strength, and ideological guidance of party workers.
The statement also noted his role in advocating for democracy, opposing authoritarian rule, and supporting constitutional supremacy and public sovereignty. He remained actively involved in various democratic alliances and movements, consistently promoting peace, equality, and the right to self-determination.
Concluding the meeting, party leaders reiterated their commitment to continuing Mandokhail’s legacy by striving for public rights, provincial autonomy, democracy, peace, and development.
