Balochistan CM Sarfraz Bugti Inaugurates Coal Phatak to Chaman Phatak Road, Announces Dualization Project

Quetta: Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti has inaugurated the Black Top Road from Coal Phatak to Chaman Phatak. On the occasion, Secretary Communications and Works Babar Khan gave a detailed briefing on the project.
According to the briefing, the 1.02-kilometer-long road was completed in just 76 days, reflecting the government’s efficiency and effective strategy. The total cost of the project was Rs 338.36 million, while the actual expenditure remained Rs 308.63 million, resulting in savings of Rs 29.73 million.
Officials said the project will benefit thousands of residents of Airport Road, Shahbaz Town, Model Town, and surrounding areas.
Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti stated that completing such an important road in just 76 days is a clear example of the government’s performance and effective planning. He added that the cost savings reflect transparency and prudent use of resources.
He further said that the new road will reduce traffic congestion in the city and significantly improve mobility. The Balochistan government remains committed to providing quality infrastructure and timely completion of development projects.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister also announced the dualization of the Coal Phatak to Chaman Phatak road.
