Javeria Saud Criticizes Podcasters for Digging Up Meera and Saud’s Past

Karachi: Pakistani actress and television host Javeria Saud has strongly reacted to podcasters for repeatedly bringing up the past of actress Meera and actor Saud, terming it unnecessary and attention-seeking behavior.
The issue resurfaced after several podcasters revisited old claims related to Meera and Saud’s alleged past relationship. Earlier, filmmaker and actress Sangeeta had made viral remarks suggesting that Meera and Saud were once romantically involved, further stating that she had seen them together at Saud’s residence. These claims were later repeated across various podcasts, keeping the controversy alive in public discussion for weeks.
As the topic was recently brought up again in podcast conversations, Javeria Saud came forward in defense of her husband and others involved. In a post shared on Instagram, she stated that repeatedly dragging stars like Meera, Saud, and Reema into old controversies does not elevate anyone’s status.
She added that such artists earned fame through hard work and talent, while some individuals are using low-quality content and podcasts for cheap publicity. Javeria emphasized that revisiting old rumors cannot diminish the success or reputation of established stars.
Following her statement, she received strong support from several members of the entertainment industry, social media users, and fans, while the behavior of certain podcasters also came under criticism.
