Police Expand Probe into Killing of Two Brothers in Quetta
Quetta:Police in the provincial capital, Quetta, have widened the scope of investigation into the murder of two brothers, while raids are being conducted at multiple locations to arrest the suspect.
Senior Superintendent of Police (Operations) Asif Khan, in a statement, said that it is under investigation whether the nominated suspect, Naqeebullah—an inspector—used an official pistol in the crime. He added that the verification process is ongoing.
He stated that the case is being investigated from all angles and that facts will soon be brought to light. According to Asif Khan, police teams are conducting raids in different areas to apprehend the suspect, who will be brought to justice.
He emphasized that the law is equal for everyone and no one will be given any leniency.
The SSP Operations further revealed that investigations have also begun into possible facilitators involved in the incident. Police are collecting evidence to ensure the case reaches its logical conclusion.
He urged the public to avoid spreading misinformation and to rely only on verified sources. Police officials maintained that justice will be ensured at all costs.
