Meezan Bank Announces Major Initiative for Balochistan’s Business Community — Commercial and Finance Team Sessions to Be Held Soon

Quetta: Meezan Bank’s **Senior Executive Vice President, Syed Salman Ahmed**, has announced that the bank will soon organize **special sessions with the commercial and finance teams** to directly engage with the **business community of Balochistan**. The initiative aims to strengthen collaboration and address the financial needs of local traders.
He made the announcement during a meeting with **Haji Muhammad Ayub Marriani**, President of the **Quetta Chamber of Commerce and Industry**, and other officials. Also present were **Aamir Ali Durrani**, Regional Manager Commercial Banking Quetta, and **Khalid Mahmood**, Area Manager.
President Ayub Marriani urged Meezan Bank to **open branches near border regions** to facilitate cross-border trade, adding that **business financing in the province is minimal** and that **easy business loans and investment opportunities** should be introduced.
Syed Salman Ahmed appreciated the suggestions, assuring that Meezan Bank is committed not only to collecting deposits but also to **promoting investment and supporting business growth**. He emphasized that the upcoming sessions with Balochistan’s business community will help **create new avenues for economic development** in the province.
