Field Marshal Asim Munir Concludes Three-Day Official Visit to Iran

Islamabad: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi have concluded a three-day official visit to Iran along with a high-level delegation.

According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Field Marshal Asim Munir held a meeting with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian during the visit.

He also met separately with National Assembly Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, and Commander of Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters Ali Abdollahi.

The ISPR stated that Field Marshal Asim Munir emphasized the importance of dialogue, de-escalation, and sustained diplomatic engagement to address regional issues. He also expressed gratitude for the warm hospitality extended by the Iranian leadership and people.

During the meetings, he conveyed good wishes on behalf of Pakistan’s President, Prime Minister, and the people, and reaffirmed the commitment to further strengthen the historic and brotherly relations between the two countries.
