Iranian Speaker Credits Hezbollah’s Resilience for Lebanon Ceasefire

Tehran: Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, has said that the ceasefire in Lebanon is the result of the resilience of Hezbollah and unity within the resistance front.
According to media reports, Ghalibaf described the ceasefire as significant for both Iran and the United States, drawing a parallel between its importance for the two countries.
He also expressed gratitude to Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff Asim Munir for endorsing the ceasefire.
The remarks came during a telephone conversation between Ghalibaf and his Lebanese counterpart. During the call, the Lebanese speaker reportedly stated that Israel has displaced around 1.2 million people in Lebanon amid the conflict.
Following the ceasefire announcement, parts of Tehran echoed with slogans in support of Hezbollah, reflecting public reaction to the development.
