TIME Unveils 100 Most Influential People List, Featuring NYC Mayor Mamdani and Global Figures
New York: TIME Magazine has released its annual list of the world’s 100 most influential people, recognizing prominent figures across fields including politics, entertainment, sports, and innovation.
Among those featured is New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, alongside a diverse group of global personalities shaping today’s world.
In the artists category, names include Keke Palmer, Noah Wyle, acclaimed Iranian filmmaker Jafar Panahi, Benicio del Toro, and Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor. Panahi was highlighted for turning censorship into creative resistance and portraying the realities of Iran through his films.
The pioneers category includes YouTube sensation MrBeast, while the titans list features figures such as Ben Stiller, Zoe Saldana, supermodel Anok Yai, designer Ralph Lauren, Sundar Pichai, and World Health Organization officials Precious Matsoso and Anne-Claire Amprou.
In the icons category, stars like Kate Hudson, Hilary Duff, and Ethan Hawke were honored, along with Olympic gold medalist Alysa Liu and fashion icon Victoria Beckham.
The leaders category is headlined by Pope Leo XIV and includes Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, former US President Donald Trump, Chinese President Xi Jinping, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and Nepal’s Prime Minister Balen Shah.
Meanwhile, the innovators category includes US Olympic hockey player Hilary Knight, chef Vikas Khanna, and Formula 1 driver Lando Norris.
