According to rescue officials, the worker, identified as Abdul Wahab, was pulled out alive on Friday after being trapped since March 31 when a sudden landslide struck a marble mining site in the Rustom tehsil of Mardan district.

The incident had occurred during mining operations when a portion of the mountain collapsed, burying several workers under heavy rocks and debris.

Rescue authorities confirmed that earlier in the operation, the bodies of eight workers had been recovered, while two others were rescued alive shortly after the collapse. Continuous search and rescue efforts were carried out for over two weeks to locate remaining trapped workers.
