PTCL Announces Submarine Cable Maintenance, Internet Disruptions Expected

Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has announced scheduled maintenance on a key submarine cable, warning of potential internet disruptions during the process.

According to the company, repair work will begin on April 14 and continue until April 20. PTCL stated that internet services may be affected, particularly during evening hours.

The maintenance will be carried out with the support of an international cable consortium to address faults in the submarine cable system.

Users across Pakistan have been advised to expect possible slowdowns or interruptions in connectivity during the maintenance period.
