PTI Leaders in Kot Lakhpat Jail Appeal to Chief Justice Over Denial of Medical Access

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leaders imprisoned in Kot Lakhpat Jail appealed to the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take notice after being denied access to their personal doctor and for the lack of communication with their families.
A statement released through their lawyer highlighted that ureshi”,”pti leader”], id”,”pti leader”], ry”,”pti leader”], Umar Sarfraz Cheema”,”pti leader”], and Mahmood Al-Rasheed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, who was transferred to Services Hospital due to low platelets, noting that his personal physician, Dr. Adnan, participated in all medical board meetings. It emphasized that Nawaz Sharif’s family and legal advisors had full access to him, whereas similar access for Imran Khan has been obstructed at every level.
The imprisoned PTI leaders stated that the medical rights of the party’s founder were being violated, as neither his lawyer nor personal doctor were allowed to meet him, and his family was denied proper communication.
