Five Killed in Separate Firing Incidents in Dera Murad Jamali, Dera Bugti and Nearby Areas

Dera Murad Jamali: At least five people were killed and one other injured in multiple firing incidents reported from Dera Murad Jamali, Dera Bugti, and surrounding areas, according to police.

In one major incident in the Pir Koh area of Dera Bugti, unidentified armed men attacked the house of a local peace force commander, Jan Muhammad Nosani Bugti, using heavy gunfire and hand grenades. During the attack, a prominent tribal figure, Mir Mehak Khan Nosani Bugti, was killed. Police and security forces reached the scene, shifted the body to hospital, and launched a search operation.

In another incident in the limits of Sui Police Station, Sui, unidentified armed men opened fire, killing Jafri Khan Sindhi, a local ice seller. The body was moved to hospital for legal formalities.

In a separate case near Dera Murad Jamali, a violent exchange of fire took place during an attempt to recover a stolen tractor. During the incident, a local landlord, Mir Altaf Hussain Umrani, was killed, while one suspect was arrested in injured condition. Police said the suspect belongs to the Khosa tribe and is reportedly a resident of Sindh. His accomplices managed to flee under the cover of darkness, and search operations are underway along the Balochistan-Sindh border.

In a separate incident in the Faleji area of Jhal Magsi, a man identified as Barakat Ali Mangrio died after a wall collapsed on him. His body was shifted to hospital for legal procedures.

In another firing incident in the Ghaad area of Jhal Magsi, unidentified motorcycle-riding assailants killed one person and fled the scene. Police have registered a case and launched investigations.

Authorities have intensified security and investigations across the affected areas.
