Mobilink Bank and HBL Join Hands to Expand Agricultural Financing for Farmers
Islamabad: Pakistan’s leading digital microfinance institution Mobilink Bank has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with HBL Zarai Services Limited to enhance access to agricultural financing for farmers across the country.
The partnership aims to expand the reach of “Zarkhaiz Easy Digital Agricultural Loan Scheme,” enabling farmers to obtain timely and convenient agricultural loans.
Under the agreement, Mobilink Bank will provide financing to farmers for agricultural inputs and services nationwide. In collaboration with HBL Zarai Services, the bank will link loans with essential farming resources to ensure productive use of credit and improve agricultural output.
The initiative also focuses on strengthening digital financing channels to make payments and transactions faster, simpler, and more efficient.
HBL Zarai Services will contribute by providing high-quality agricultural inputs, technical guidance, access to machinery when needed, and structured opportunities for better crop marketing. This integrated model is expected to enhance transparency, reduce inefficiencies, and improve the financial stability of farmers.
Officials said the collaboration represents a significant step toward modernizing agricultural financing and supporting sustainable growth in Pakistan’s farming sector.
