Legendary Singer Asha Bhosle Hospitalized After Heart Attack

Mumbai:Renowned Indian playback singer Asha Bhosle has been hospitalized after suffering a heart attack, sparking concern among fans across the world.

The 92-year-old music icon was shifted to Breach Candy Hospital after her health deteriorated. She is currently under treatment in the intensive care unit (ICU), where doctors are closely monitoring her condition, which is reported to be critical.

According to reports, she was rushed to the hospital on Saturday evening following the cardiac episode, after which medical staff admitted her to the ICU due to the seriousness of her condition.

Asha Bhosle is widely regarded as one of the most influential and versatile voices in the history of Indian music. She began her illustrious career in 1943 at the age of just 10 and received classical training from her father, Deenanath Mangeshkar.

Over her decades-long career, she recorded more than 12,000 songs in over 20 languages and lent her voice to more than 1,000 Bollywood films. She has also received numerous accolades, including seven Filmfare Awards and several national honors in recognition of her contributions to music.

News of her illness has led to an outpouring of concern and well wishes from fans and the music fraternity alike.
