Pakistan Played Decisive Role in Iran–US Ceasefire, Says MPA Haji Wali Muhammad Norzai

Quetta: Haji Wali Muhammad Norzai, a member of the Balochistan Assembly and Parliamentary Secretary for Social Welfare from Pakistan Muslim League (N), has welcomed the ceasefire between the United States and Iran, praising Pakistan’s leadership for its decisive role in averting a major regional conflict.
In a statement, Norzai said Pakistan acted as a responsible state and played an effective and crucial role in reducing tensions and promoting peace in the region, preventing what could have been a devastating war.
He commended Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Army Chief Asim Munir for their leadership, stating that their strategic approach strengthened Pakistan’s diplomatic standing on the global stage.
Norzai highlighted that the professional actions and timely intervention by Field Marshal Asim Munir helped safeguard the region from potential large-scale destruction, reflecting strong coordination between Pakistan’s civil and military leadership.
He added that Pakistan’s proactive diplomacy sends a clear message to the international community that the country remains committed to peace. He expressed hope that this development would pave the way for lasting stability in the region and that Pakistan would continue to play a key role in resolving global conflicts through peaceful means.
