Senior Punjab Minister Maryam Aurangzeb Hails Leadership in Preventing Destructive War

LAHORE: Punjab Senior Minister Maryam Aurangzeb praised Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir for their determined and visionary leadership, which she said averted a potentially catastrophic war.

In a statement, she said that their leadership, blessed with great honor, safeguarded millions of innocent lives and steered the world away from the brink of destruction. She described this as the highest example of exemplary leadership and a proud, historic moment for Pakistan.

Maryam Aurangzeb added that the unity, dignity, and honor displayed during this period fills every Pakistani, at home and abroad, with pride. She also commended U.S. President Donald Trump and Iran’s leadership for choosing the path of negotiation, emphasizing the importance of dialogue in averting conflict.
