Trump Issues Stark Ultimatum to Iran, Warns of End to “47 Years of Corruption and Bloodshed”

Islamabad: Former U.S. President Donald Trump has once again issued a strong ultimatum to Iran, warning that the country must reopen the Strait of Hormuz for maritime traffic or face severe consequences.

According to international media reports, Trump stated that if Iran fails to immediately allow navigation through the key waterway, “an entire civilization could end tonight,” adding that such a loss would be irreversible.

The statement was shared on his social media platform, Truth Social, approximately 12 hours before the expiration of his latest deadline, signaling heightened urgency and seriousness.

Trump remarked that while he does not wish for such an outcome, it appears increasingly likely. He also suggested that a “complete and decisive regime change” may have already occurred, potentially allowing for more rational and less extreme leadership to emerge.

Describing the moment as one of the most significant in global history, he claimed that “47 years of blackmail, corruption, and bloodshed” in Iran could come to an end.

Earlier, Trump had warned that failure to comply would result in U.S. strikes targeting key Iranian infrastructure, including power plants and bridges, further escalating tensions in the region.
