Pakistan Condemns Attack on Iran, Says Ishaq Dar

Islamabad: Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has stated that Pakistan was the only Muslim country to formally condemn the recent attack on Iran, reaffirming the country’s commitment to peace and diplomatic solutions in the region.

Speaking about the situation, Dar revealed that he was in Saudi Arabia at the time of the reported U.S. strike on Iran. From Madinah, he contacted the Iranian Foreign Minister to convey Pakistan’s موقف (official stance) and express concern over the escalation.

He emphasized that Pakistan has consistently advocated for regional stability, restraint, and dialogue, and has strongly opposed any form of aggression or provocation. Dar reiterated that peaceful resolution through diplomacy remains the only viable path forward to avoid further tensions in the region.
