Dubai Announces Three-Month Fee Deferral for Hotels and Businesses

Islamabad – Dubai has announced a major economic relief measure for hotels and businesses, allowing key fees to be deferred for three months under directives from the Crown Prince.
The new economic package, approved by Dubai authorities, aims to reduce short-term financial pressure across the economy. Announced by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Vice President, UAE Minister of Defense, and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, the measures will take effect from April 1, 2026.
Under the package, 100% of sales fees on hotel rooms, food and beverage services, and tourism-related Dirhams have been postponed for three months. The initiative is intended to support businesses and stimulate economic activity while easing operational costs in the short term.
Officials stated that these steps are part of Dubai’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the economy and provide relief to business owners affected by rising operational expenses.
