Achakzai Calls for National Conference to Resolve Pakistan’s Multi-Dimensional Crises

Islamabad:Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party Chairman and head of the Tehreek Tahaffuz-e-Ayeen Pakistan, **Mahmood Khan Achakzai**, has called for a **national conference** to pull the country out of what he described as deep, multi-layered crises.

In an interview with a private TV channel, Achakzai said the conference should bring together the **military, intelligence agencies, political parties, lawyers, judges, and representatives from all walks of life**. He suggested that they sit together for at least **three days** to formulate a roadmap to address Pakistan’s worsening challenges.

He warned that the country is “declining like a cancer patient,” with the working class increasingly seeking to leave Pakistan. Alleging widespread manipulation of recent elections, he said results were openly altered through bribery, where “those who sold their conscience are being hailed as good Pakistanis, while those who stood by their principles are being punished.”

Achakzai stressed that the **military must remain within its constitutional limits**, reiterating that political decisions should be made only by elected representatives. He added that Pakistan cannot live in isolation from the rest of the world.

He described the current situation as a complete disregard for the Constitution, arguing that “those who violate the Constitution are the biggest security risk.”

Achakzai demanded the release of **Imran Khan and all political prisoners**, followed by **free and fair elections** under an independent and sovereign Election Commission.

He also announced that the Tehreek Tahaffuz-e-Ayeen Pakistan will hold a **two-day conference** featuring judges, journalists, lawyers, and patriotic Pakistanis to discuss constitutional and political reforms.
