Lahore: Chief Minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz has announced another relief package for the public, abolishing motorcycle registration and transfer fees across the province.
In a statement shared on social media, she said that each registered motorcycle owner will also receive a monthly subsidy of Rs2,000. The subsidy includes support for up to 20 litres of petrol per month at a discounted rate of Rs100 per litre.
The relief package has been implemented immediately, and the government has also introduced a mechanism for citizens to avail the fuel subsidy. Registered motorcycle owners can apply through a dedicated helpline (1000), a web portal, or the mobile app “Maryam Ko Batayn.”
